Even in a genre where grammar can be a frequent issue, this book is a hot mess. It doesn't appear any sort of proofreading was done. It is sometimes difficult to tell what is happening or when the action is taking place. At one point, a character named Kyla is narrating a chapter and we're told that Kyla is wearing such-and-such and "I" am wearing this. Who is the "I"? It's truly some of the worst editing that I've come across and I am a regular reader of self-published books.

The plot is a tedious series of repetitions of vacuous genre cliches. Skylar, our main character, cycles between the three men in her life-- Casey (her first boyfriend), Dominic (the guy she hooks up with immediately after Casey), and Zo (her longest relationship). As soon as they sleep with her, all three are unable to let her go. This affection is expressed through violence and a showering of material gifts -- the brand worshipping in this book is remarkable, even in a genre notable for a general brand fixation. The book's focus on the material objects surrounding Skylar frequently crosses the line into the hilarious -- like when Zo carries Skylar into his bedroom for their first coupling and Skylar tells us that his bed has sheets with an 800 thread count (what, did she stop to look at the label?).

Skylar is the ultimate victim. Unable to leave a relationship unless she has another (richer) guy on deck, she puts up with the most appalling treatment from men. This wouldn't necessarily be a fatal flaw, but she is always resolving to leave and then rapidly changing her mind. This, such as it is, is the plot of the book.

Skylar gets clothes/cars/houses, Skylar has great sex, Skylar gets beaten/abused, Skylar cries about it . . .repeat. We're supposed to believe that she is highly motivated, but since virtually all the action takes place in the bedroom or the mall, who can tell?

Jones certainly has a way with words (Zo, we're told at one point, is packing what looks like two kingsize Snickers end-to-end with a giant mushroom head on top), but the plot is a huge loser. The decision, in part two, to expand the story to include all of Skylar's friends, is confusing. Since they were only minor characters in part one, I don't know why we were suddenly supposed to care about all the details of their lives in part two.

Several typos and a little annoying trying to keep up with so many characters. over priced for the typical story line. Part 3 needs to be the end.
This book made me mad..I mean if she wanted to move along why would you keep stalking her..Then she would break up with one person jump straight into another relationship never gives herself a break...she wad pudding me off..HOPEFULLY she has her Shit together in part three...
Her and Kasey was a problem and I was relieved when she figured that much out. I was pulling for her and Dominic to be together but of course she had to let it be seeing that he wasn't ready. I thought she was moving way too fast with Zo but he seemed to be the perfect match for her. It seemed like she couldn't catch a break for nothing. I loved how all the ladies put school first even though they seemed like they would all be knocked up after the first couple chapters. One thing that bothered me was the errors in the story. I usually overlook them but when an editor is named it makes me look at the errors even more. I hope the author didn't pay too much for an editor because if so she should get her money back. I understand word count but the context and characters didn't match the words by a long shot. It becomes distracting to the story and takes away from what's going on. It would've been better if the author just left the natural language instead of the "I will, I am, You are" when in reality it would've been more like, "I'm, I'll, and You're".

Here it is I thought Zo was the one but he did a total flip. I figured the ex fool was going to still be a problem but he needed to go way worse then he did. Dominic is still my favorite and Howie seems to be the most mature in his relationship then them all. I'm not liking the back and forth with her and Zo but I guess the drama was needed to move the story along. I still don't understand why Nash was there and what the plan was but I guess the next book will fill that in. Can't wait to see what happens with Zo in jail and the surprise waiting for her at home.

In all this was a good book with just enough drama and crazy to keep you reading. Can't wait for part 3.
THE BAD There we so many misspelled words as well as misplaced names it was hard to follow. I kept finding myself having to reread things a few times then try to figure out what was going on.
THE GOOD I like the Character Skylar and Dominic if the writing was a little clearer I would have rated this book higher. Overall the book it ok but with correction of the many misspelled words the book would be Great.
Okay.....A person who buy's this would say "OMG yes part 1 and 2 in one book." Well it's not good as it seems, The first part was really good, it had me thinking "Ooooo part 2 going to be even better as the story continued." Well it didn't get any better. First of three; there were to many characters in the story talking that shouldn't have, the story was supposed to be about Skylar Thomas experiencing life, not Skylar Thomas and her friends experiencing life. Second; it was parts of the story I read that would be repeated in the next chapter or when one of the other characters talked. Third; the ending was a Cliff hanger. If there is a part 3 to this book, I would read it to see if things got better or worse for Skylar.
First half of part one was decent. This book was so annoying and repetitive. Skylar was so naive and such a cry baby. All the men in her love life had the same characteristics and it was annoying. I feel like the book went in circles and after a while I forgot what the book was supposed to be about. The author has the nerve to end with a cliffhanger and if she would've gotten to the point with the first two parts a part three wouldn't have been needed. Only read this if you're bored and looking for something to occupy your time. I feel like I waster six hours of my life that I won't get back (
